HEAT Check Gaming Bounce Back With Victory Over Wizards DG

Wednesday night’s stunning 80-57 loss to Bucks Gaming was a wakeup call for Famous Enough and his squad. With one game remaining in Week 2 set for Friday night against Wizards DG, HEAT Check Gaming’s top priority was making sure they didn’t come home winless after a strong showing in the TIP OFF Tournament and Week 1 of the regular season.

Early Friday afternoon, the team got together and broke down film to see where things went wrong and figure out what they needed to do make them right.

Washington kept things close in a back and forth game and was within three points of Miami heading into the fourth quarter, but Miami ultimately fought them off and secured a 62-57 win to split the week 1-1 and get back above .500 on the season.

JMoneyRep817 was back in rhythm Friday, scoring 15 points and dishing out 6 assists. Hotshot also continued to flex his versatility as one of the elite Centers in the league with 10 points, a game-high 18 rebounds, and team-high 7 assists.

However, Player of the Game honors went to 24K DropOff, who shot a perfect 8-of-8 from the field, including 5-of-5 from beyond the arc for 21 points.

“My teammates, they know, even if I have four points, they notice all the little things the boxscore doesn’t always show,” said the second year veteran. “As long as they know what I’m doing right, it’s good by me.”

Following the game, Hotshot found WizardsDG Center Dayfri to swap jerseys – his second exchange this season (Hotshot exchanged jerseys in Week1 with Knicks Gaming Center Goofy757.)

HEAT Check Gaming faces another doubleheader in Week 3, squaring off Wednesday at 10 PM ET against Lakers Gaming, and Friday afternoon at 6 PM ET against Mavs GG.
