HEAT Check Gaming Retains 24K Dropoff

HEAT Check Gaming GM/Coach Famous Enough announced Thursday morning that the organization has retained Basil “24K Dropoff” Rose for season two of the NBA 2K League.

HEAT Check Gaming gave up its second round pick in the upcoming 2019 NBA 2K League Draft in order to retain 24K Dropoff.

“We are excited to have 24K Dropoff back for a second season,” said Famous Enough after finalizing the transaction with the NBA 2K League.

“Dropoff’s basketball and 2K IQ is off the charts, and we wouldn’t have made it as far as we did without him. I’m extremely grateful to welcome him back to HEAT Check Gaming.”

24K Dropoff was drafted as a power forward with the seventh pick in the third round of the first ever NBA 2K League Draft in April 2018. He averaged 12.8 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 3.1 APG during regular season play, and 7.8 PPG, .4 RPG, and 3 APG during postseason play in which he helped lead HEAT Check Gaming to the NBA 2K League Finals.

24K Dropoff will join Stanley “Majes7ic” Lebron and season one MVP candidate Juan “Hotshot” Gonzalez on HEAT Check Gaming’s season two roster.
